statistics on consumer credit from the Federal Reserve. Thats about
$28,654 per household, a figure that doesn't include mortgage debt. The
number is up more than 41% from the $2.3999 trillion consumers owed in
2002.

Research undertaken in effects of identity theft articles reveals this type of
crime is far from being a rare occurrence. In fact, it is estimated that
nearly 11 million cases of identity theft occur each year in the US...
